Dr Aoibheann O’Brien BDS
Dr Aoibheann O’Brien graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Queens University Belfast in 2006 and practised dentistry for five years in Northern Ireland before relocating to Australia in 2011. Prior to moving, Aoibheann completed the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of England - A postgraduate qualification recognising advanced clinical knowledge and professional development. Since arriving in Brisbane, Aoibheann has worked across a range of dental practices before establishing O’Brien Dental in Alderley. She has a particular interest in aesthetic and preventive dentistry and is known for her calm, unhurried approach with anxious patients. With over 19 years of clinical experience, Aoibheann is committed to providing thorough, honest care for patients of all ages.
O’Brien Dental was founded on the legacy of Dr Meg Bowtell, who served the Alderley community for over two decades. Aoibheann is proud to continue that tradition of care.
Georgia - Receptionist & Dental Assistant
Georgia keeps our practice running smoothly. She is usually the first voice you hear when you contact O’Brien Dental and works across reception, dental assisting and practice management. Georgia loves meeting the wonderful and interesting people who come through our doors.
